GASIF has been established by the Group Analytic Society International (GASi) to develop and implement ways of providing financial support and bursaries for GASI events as well as for the realization of new and emerging group analytic work, projects and ideas. These might be research initiatives, translation and presenting at international events. To date, GASIF has helped some people attend group analytic events such as Symposia, Foulkes Lectures and Study Days, and the Summer School.
GASIF is managed by an international committee. Aware of the needs of others in difficult economic climates, the Committee is working to raise funds to support members from all parts of our communities. Donations can be made to GASIF via the Group Analytic Society International website, and when registering for membership and/or for GASI related events. However modest, donations will be useful and welcome.
The GASIF Committee would, in addition, like to hear of initiatives and projects that may benefit from financial support. Ideas or proposals can also be sent to the Chairman of the GASIF Committee either directly or via the office of GASI.
