Quarterly Members’ Group

18 July, 2026
9.30am – 4.30pm (UK)
The Quarterly Members Group is an in person median group based in South London which takes place four times a year on a Saturday. It is a unique experience within the GASI and provides a space for people who run or have run groups to come together in an unstructured way. There are three ninety-minute sessions in the day, interspersed with a break for lunch and refreshments. Most people go to a local restaurant to eat together; some prefer a break and a walk.
The meeting room is bright and airy overlooking a garden in Southwark. The QMG operates with a rolling group of four dynamic administration organisers. There is a real sense of community with a core of regular attendees and others on a less regular basis. The group has a history of attracting people from Europe as well as from the rest of the UK. It offers a chance to explore personal and societal issues in a group of 20-30 members, it may not be a therapy group but it can often be therapeutic.
The group is facilitated by Fiona Parker and is a rich and stimulating experience. It is a chance to gain support and to learn from other colleagues. We welcome all members of GASI who would like to join us. Those thinking of joining GASI can attend once.
The next meetings are on 18th July and 17th October 2026 at the Guild of Psychotherapists, 47 Nelson Square, London SE1 0QA. The day’s fee is £30. The GASI office sends out details before each meeting, this includes how to pay.
