In 2020, few weeks before Covid19 pandemic spread in Europe, the ERASMUS+ transnational Psych.E.In project received acceptance of the proposal by the EU.  The Institute of Group Analysis Athens (IGAA) is one of the seven consortium partners of the Psych.E.In project, which are:

Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce (Poland), Associazione EMDR Italia and Pixel, Associazione Culturale (Italy),  Asociace klinických psychologů (Czech Republic), Institute Alfred Adler de Paris (France), and University of Prešov Slovakia.

The project became online due to the pandemic, and the attendance to the project is for free. Its aim is to present different psychotherapeutic approaches and also methods of supervision in psychological early intervention during a disaster, natural or manmade. After the invasion of Ukraine, the project has been translated in Ukrainian, Russian, Bulgarian and Romanian, the languages of the countries more involved in refugees fleeing Ukraine.

Between others, GASi’s aim is to promote treatment and prevention of psychological distress and/or disorders.  In line with this objective, GASi is now an Associated Partner of the project, opening new international collaboration.
