One part of my professional development started in London studying European Business Administration. At that time I answered the question: why I have chosen the course – without really knowing it myself – “I want to learn more about what is going on inside companies.” And of course one main reason to study in London was to meet people from all over Europe.

I specialised in Finance and have been in small and medium sized companies since then either as an employee or as a consultant, also as head of finance department on an interim basis – the later mainly in companies in crisis. Besides the facts and figures I always have been interested in the dynamics at the workplace. So in parallel I have dealt with topics like the learning organisation, the dialogue principle, intercultural communication, systemic consulting which all had an influence on my work.

After a group relations conference (PCCA in Poland) I finally decided to do group analytic training at the Akademie für Psychoanalyse und Psychotherapie in Munich. The first GASi event I attended was the Symposium in Berlin 2017. From then on I have been to GASi events regularly.

I still consult companies on finance matters. Beside that I am a supervisor for teams and managers. Furthermore taking people out into the mountains to reflect on things they currently struggle with is something I like very much. Since 2019 I am doing the course supervision and organisational consulting at IGA Heidelberg.

Being the Honorary Treasurer of GASi is a special way of bringing together the two branches which have a main influence on my professional life.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me if there are any questions concerning Finance matters of GASi – Finance might be an unfamiliar and weird area to some of you.
