Robi Friedman

Clinical psychologist in private practice in Haifa, Israel. He serves on the faculty at Haifa University, and is co-founder of the Israel Institute of Group Analysis and ex-President of the Israel Association for Group Psychotherapy. With a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Zurich University, Robi Friedman has presented at more than a dozen conferences throughout the world during the past two decades, addressing such topics as dreams in group psychotherapy, the uniting and dividing of genders, and the nature of social unconscious processes. Dr. Friedman is co-editor of Dreams in Group Psychotherapy and Desire, Passion and Gender: Clinical Implications and has authored more than thirty articles and essays in various international journals, including the International Journal of Group Psychotherapy, the International Journal of Counseling and Psychotherapy and Group Analysis. He has also published chapters in such books as The Social Unconscious in Persons, Groups and Societies and The Wiley-Blackwell Handbook of Group Psychotherapy. He is married, has three children and six grandchildren.
